Wearing my seahorse necklace from The Big Island

Whoa, we are more than half-way through this year, where did that time go? I was just in Hawaii for a month-long graduation celebration, wowzers, that was amazing, and that time flew by, too. For this past week, I have been back to business trying to get my nonprofit, Global Alternative Learning Systems (G.A.L.S.) off the ground. For my blog this last week, I was documenting G.A.L.S. progress each day and it feels great to watch it grow little by little, day by day. I am so happy and grateful to have the opportunity to share my experience so that others may be inspired to create their own nonprofit that will help serve their communities. For this post I am checking in with myself. No work, some relaxation and play, but mostly to check in with myself to make sure I am keeping everything balanced, aligned with my purpose, healthy, positive, and happy. For today, I touched up my hair color, put on a little Beauty Society Makeup, wore my new Hawaiian necklace, and headed out with friends to watch and listen to their folk/pop band, Drifter, play live music in Southern Washington state (check out their newest music video, “Goodnight Lullaby”). Tomorrow, I will share some more self-care Sunday strategies. Sending lots of love.

Thank you for reading and viewing,
