My Monthly Acne Fighting Routine w/Beauty Society

Monday May 31, 2021

Welcome to my Beauty Monday’s B.R.E.A.T.H.S. blog. Since 2004, I have been using Beauty Society products, starting with their facial skincare line in my mid twenties. Now after 17 years, they have expanded their beauty products to include makeup, facial care, beauty tools, body care, hair care, hand/foot care, fragrances, men’s line, and a monthly Beauty Box subscription. Into my mid forties, I still continue to look and feel fabulous using the same Beauty Society products line, and we keep getting better with age 😉

Beauty Society Skincare Routines

The last few weeks I have been introducing my daily beauty regimen with Beauty Society Skincare Products, with my first ever YouTube videos showing my morning 5-step routine and my evening 4-step routine. The morning and evening routines I do every day, but I do have a few other Beauty Society skincare products I use only a couple times a week or maybe a few times a month for spot treatments. This week I am going to review the other Beauty Society Skincare products that I use on a monthly basis (usually “that time of the month” when I am menstruating and acne appears).

Beauty Society Acne Treatment Products Used Monthly

“Set Me Free” Acne Fighting Cleanser

After cleaning my face with Beauty Society Set Me Free Cleanser to remove oil, dirt, and other impurities that cause blemishes, I use a few other products below at least once a month, but more if my skin is more oily than dry during the warmer months. Set Me Free dissolves oil and makeup, and works great for acne treatment for face, back, and shoulder areas. This pore clearing cleanser is gentle for calming redness, however, it is not recommended for super people with sensitive skin.

“True Salvation” Acne Fighting Serum

When I know that time of the month is coming, I start to use this product to fight off the PMS breakouts. True Salvation not only fights off the acne-causing bacteria, it works to rebuild the skin and diminish old acne scarring. This product is recommended for people with acne prone skin. (This item is 20% until May 31, 2021)

“Let’s Face It” Acne Fighting Mask

After my face is nice and clean, I use Let’s Face It in two different ways depending on the severity of my menstrual breakout. When my acne is light, I will do spot treatment by putting a dab on my finger and then rubbing into the affected bump for overnight treatment to pull out all the acne-causing impurities while I am sleeping. I just wash off with my morning beauty routine. When I have a full-fledged breakout, I will put about a nickel sized dab of Let’s Face It in my palm, and then a squirt of True Salvation to mix them together. Next, I rub on my entire face and leave it to dry. Finally, I wash it off with my evening beauty routine. Recommended for anyone fighting acne.

“Drama Free” Acne Repair Serum

After the “Let’s Face It” treatment, I use Drama Free repair serum to quickly soothe my skin. This product is great for diminishing redness, acne scarring, large pores, and toning the skin. Recommended for treatment of skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea. I also use this product on any cuts or scrapes for quicker healing.

“Keep It Lite” Oil-free Gel Moisturizer

After the acne-fighting cleanse, acne mask, and acne repair serums, comes the final step, moisturize. Keep It Lite Moisturizer is perfect for acne-prone skin because it gives the skin the hydration it needs without clogging the pores. This light moisturizer is perfect for the humid or hot times of the year or after workouts. Recommended for people with oily or acne-prone skin.

  1. Hi Jaime,
Where were these products when I was a teenager?
It seems like keeping a health complexion is a time consuming and expensive endeavor.
    Blog on!

  2. I lucked out when I was a teenager and even adult, I never had acne nor many pimples. I do have wrinkles now in my old age but I like to call them smile lines. LOL I also have never worn makeup so I’m thinking that my be partially why I haven’t had skin problems. Great rundown of your routine! Congratulations on completing the UBC, see you over at Cornerstone!! Hugs from Lia and me.
